This Privacy Policy explains how ANMALLUM collects, uses and stores information when you use the ANMALLUM mobile application.

2. Information we collect

When you create and use an ANMALLUM account, we may collect:

• Account information: email address, optional name, internal user ID, account creation date and authentication information. Passwords are stored only in hashed form.
• Preferences: meditation goals, preferred ritual time, reminder times, selected language and alarm-sound preference.
• App activity: meditation or sound sessions completed, session duration, completion status, favorites and information used to provide streaks and activity summaries.

Some preferences and playback information may also be stored locally on your device so the app can remember settings or resume playback.

3. How we use information

We use this information to create and maintain your account, provide and personalize ANMALLUM's features, remember your preferences, maintain favorites and meditation history, and provide functionality such as reminders and activity summaries.

4. Tracking and advertising

ANMALLUM does not use third-party advertising, advertising identifiers, or third-party analytics SDKs, and does not use your information for cross-app tracking or targeted advertising.

5. Notifications

ANMALLUM uses local device notifications for reminders you choose to configure. ANMALLUM does not currently collect push-notification tokens or use a server to send remote push notifications.

6. External media services

The app may retrieve static audio or image content from public content providers, including Internet Archive, Unsplash and Pexels. ANMALLUM does not intentionally send your account information, email address or meditation preferences to these services. As with ordinary internet requests, those services may receive technical information such as your IP address and standard request information.

7. Data storage and service providers

Account data and app activity are stored in the backend infrastructure used by ANMALLUM and hosted through Emergent. The exact physical hosting region is not currently exposed to ANMALLUM through the service interface. Where applicable, international transfers of personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements. This policy will be updated if more specific hosting information becomes available.

8. Data retention

We retain account information, preferences and meditation activity while your account remains active, unless a longer retention period is required by law. When you delete your account through the app, ANMALLUM deletes the account data, preferences, favorites and meditation-session history associated with that account from its application database and clears relevant locally stored account data.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or other controls over your personal data. You can contact us at anmallum9@gmail.com to make a privacy request.

You can initiate permanent account deletion from the Profile section of the ANMALLUM app. A confirmation is required before deletion.

10. Device permissions

ANMALLUM may request notification permission to provide local reminders and uses background audio functionality so audio can continue while the screen is locked. The app does not require access to your precise or approximate location, contacts, camera, microphone, photo library, HealthKit or advertising identifier for its current functionality.

11. Security

ANMALLUM uses measures intended to protect account information, including HTTPS communications, hashed passwords and authenticated access to account-related backend functions. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

12. Children

ANMALLUM is not directed to children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided personal information contrary to applicable law, please contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as ANMALLUM changes or as legal requirements evolve. The current version will be made available at this page and the “Last updated” date will be revised when appropriate.
